    Very enjoyable! We appreciate the easy access to grocery store. Comfortable bed! Very homey with pool table and hot tub perks! Sierra cabin is really a house!

    Not secluded, but off of the main strip. Our cabin was clean and spacious, and there is a beautiful creek running through the back yard. I never once saw or heard any of our neighbors. We had a FANTASTIC time.

    We stayed at the Lone Star Altitude on 1/26-28. I had a $25 deduction off my security deposit because we "didn't take out the trash". To start, we did take out the trash. We left the house/cabin spotless. My wife and I are always very diligent in making sure we leave something better than when we arrived. We travel a lot, and are very clean people. In fact, the only dumpster available near by was down the street. So we loaded all the trash in the car, and took it down the street. I paid a $154 cleaning fee, which is more than adequate for somebody to clean any house in Ruidoso, incuding taking out the trash. (I have friends locally that clean houses for other establishments in Ruidoso.) A SECURITY DEPOSIT should solely be used as such, not for "cleaning", especially when I paid $154 that's non refundable to begin with!!! We not only emailed, but called THREE times to try to talk to somebody about this. Nobody could help and said "we will have the person you need to talk to call you back." And nobody did. 4 attempts to talk to someone and I've gotten nowhere. On top of that, the "how do I HAVE to help you" attitude from the booking person was anything but pleasant. This was my 2nd stay with Hummingbird, and there won't be a third. Shame on me for there even being a 2nd.

    I do recommend people to use Karen at Edward Jones for your financial advisory needs she has always been helpful with our many questions. She moved our old outdated IRA to a new program and has since made us much more money than it had ever made in the past!
